Time in the Amazon had me wrestling with a python, holding a sloth and even a small caiman - a type of crocodile.
Her fractured leg, in fact, got much worse, preventing her from working for six months. All that time she was in bed I felt really cut-up inside. It was the worst period of my life. Sharing these memories in this book makes me feel a little better, a little more at peace.
Who is Alice? I will explain. But first to note that sea and love are treacherous. When we least expect it, someone comes out of the fog of time, and like a wave, floods the heart, drowns our priorities and weighs anchor in our thoughts. That someone was Alice.
During his travels, Martinês has visited some 80 countries and hundreds of cities across 6 continents - Antarctica still to go! He has taken more than 35,000 pictures and produced approximately 5,000 videos - most of them exhibited on his YouTube page: Martines Rocha de Souza.

WHAT READERS SAY ...

An inspirational true story, of one boys hard work and desire to get the most that life has to offer! I particularly enjoyed Martines tales of growing up in Sao Paulo, Brasil. Very funny and heartwarming. His stories about working at sea onboard the worlds best ships and cruise lines are equally intriguing and gives the reader a great insight to crew life, the laughs and friendships to be had working on ships. I thoroughly enjoyed this book, plus its an interactive book also and very easy to use, just scan the QR code on the various pages to take you to Martines pictures and videos of his time working at sea! Very clever and fresh idea. It's finally a delight to read a true account of how hard one must work to achieve their goals. Martines story deserves a chance to be heard if you are someone that enjoys travel, adventure and real life stories then I highly recommend My Way to the Seven Seas. A Must Read! Bravo Martines

I've met Martinês a few times over the years, not only is he a likeable person, he has a resliance at his very core that has made him the man he is today! From very humble roots, he's never taken life for granted and appreciates what's involved and what you need to do to get through the struggles that life throws at you sometimes. His story is a story worth reading, and it is inspiring. It's been a pleasure to have met him and spent time with him.
