The Ornate Eagle Ray The rare and incredibly beautiful ornate eagle ray with its extremely long tail (cropped in this image). Obviously its name is derived from the spectacular mottled orange and black patterns on its back.	Feeding Dugong ... the dugong is one of the shyest creatures on the Ningaloo Reef and thought to be the origin of mermaid myth - only through the eye of a drunken sailor!	Rhincodon Typus The predominantly herbivorous whale shark can offer protection for smaller fish - in spite of appearances, these sardines are in no danger of being eaten
Humpback Breaching ... the classic sight of a humpback whale breaching - each year more than 30,000 humpback whales cruise past the Ningaloo Reef on their annual migration
